Engine
The precise performance leader of the 250 cc 4-stroke class, although weighing just 57.5 lb. The 2023 KTM 250 XC-F receives a rise in power throughout the board, even in the midrange and the high end, thanks to careful design and tuning. The anti-squat behavior of the chassis is unparalleled in 2023 because of the engine’s 2° rearward tilt and lower sprocket position, as well as the advantages of mass centralization and decreased weight.
Throttle Body
The 2023 KTM XC lineup was significantly upgraded by introducing a brand-new 44 mm throttle body. Exhaust
The exhaust systems of the KTM XC-F are skillfully crafted to provide maximum performance with minimal weight. The 2-piece header pipe, which includes a flow-designed resonance chamber, is as compact as feasible, and its removal does not need removing the rear shock. A lightweight, compact, silent aluminum silencer may be made thanks to recent developments.
Airbox
The airbox is constructed with strategically placed input ducts to provide optimal airflow and maximum filter protection. Polyamide-Reinforced Aluminium Subframe
The new two-piece subframe is made of polyamide (60%) and strengthened aluminum (40%), weighing only four pounds. The subframe’s precisely calculated stiffness was created using computational dynamics to provide excellent handling and feedback while sturdy and dependable.
Wheels and Tyres
These are more than just cosmetic; they perform well as well. Using lightweight spokes and new silver anodized aluminum nipples, GIANT’s high-strength, lightweight black alloy rims are attached to CNC machined hubs. A new design for the spoke nipples means less routine inspection and upkeep. A Dunlop GEOMAX MX-33F handles the front end, while a GEOMAX AT81 covers the rear.
The all-new, CFD-designed footrests provide a larger contact area for improved bike control while standing on the pegs, but they are also less likely to get entangled in deep trail ruts, logs, or rocks. It was made possible by a novel frame mounting design that is smaller in profile and aids in total weight reduction.
Swingarm
A new hollow, die-cast aluminum swing arm is intended to be as light as possible without sacrificing stiffness or durability. Rigidity-enhancing optimizations were made to the topology, and an enhanced casting method cut the weight by around 190 g. The improved flex characteristics of the chassis required a new 22 mm rear axle to be installed. Neken Handlebar

WP XACT Rear Suspension
The suspension travel has been maintained at 300 mm, but the overall length and weight have been reduced thanks to a new rear shock design. Adjustment is now handled by a dual compression control knob that may be turned by hand to switch between high and low speeds. Hydraulic Clutch

Functional Bodywork
The rider triangle on the 2023 KTM XC and XC-F models is completely redesigned and revised to provide better knee contact, particularly while standing on the pegs, and enhanced grip. A redesigned, flatter seat profile and high-grip orange seat cover allow for excellent rider mobility and control, while new plastics help to expel mud accumulation in wet, muddy situations. There’s a convenient grip pocket beneath the seat, just above the air box, so you can quickly get hold of the bike and hoist it. Visually, the 2023 KTM XC and XC-F models are reminiscent of the company’s early 1990s offerings, when purple was a prominent color choice.
Engine Management System (EMS)
Keihin’s Electronics Miniature System (EMS) is remarkable for its compact size, low weight, and rapid processing speed. It has a map pick switch on the handlebar to choose between many engine maps, Traction control, and Quick shift for lightning-fast gear changes. A rollover sensor (ROS) kills the engine in severe collisions. When paired with the gear sensor, which optimizes the power supply for each gear, the new generation of XC and XC-F vehicles gain a crucial safety feature. The fuel gauge and FI status LED are now included in the new hour meter.
Map Select Switch
The 2023 KTM 250 XC-F has a standard map pick switch that lets the racer choose between two distinct engine maps. Traction Control
