Additionally, the downdraft intake makes it possible to create a seat with easy access to the ground by removing the space below it. A larger airbox improves intake efficiency for more power. The airbox design makes the engine’s intake tone audible to the rider during acceleration. By eliminating torque dips, the uneven height of the intake funnels contributes to a smoother throttle response.

The oval shape of the 32mm throttle valves, which causes them to open quickly on initial movement, helps contribute to quick throttle response. Combustion efficiency and linear throttle response are enhanced by fine atomizing injectors positioned close to the throttle valves, enabling them to spray fuel directly onto them.

Performance is influenced by 23.5mm exhaust and 27.7mm intake valves at all engine rpm. The use of forged camshafts facilitates weight reduction of displacement machines. The lightweight piston design is made possible by oil jets, which cool the underside of the piston.

The open deck design of the aluminum die-cast cylinders allows for more excellent heat dissipation and lighter engine weight. A sleeveless cylinder that uses a plated bore. A 20-degree forward tilt on the cylinder helps reduce the overall height of the engine.

The cooling system design minimizes the amount and weight of the external coolant pipe.

When the fan is turned on, such as when riding in heavy traffic, the new radiator fan cover introduces hot air to the sides and away from the rider, increasing comfort. To further improve comfort, it also keeps the frame, tank, and other areas where the rider comes in contact with cold.

Transmission/Clutch

The operating plates of the assist and sleeper clutch (KP), which are small in size, feel very light when pulling the lever. When the range of engagement is extensive, it is easier to control. To use shorter and lighter clutch springs for a lighter feel on the lever, the clutch is pressed together during acceleration (assist function) using the rotational forces of the new clutch hub and pressure plate.
