With specific engine and chassis improvements, the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR ABS Sports Motorcycle is a limited edition, advanced model that maximizes the potential of the regular Ninja® ZX-10R. The ZX-10RR is the foundation of six-time KRT WSB Championship race vehicles.
Additionally, the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR ABS Sports Motorcycle is considerably less expensive than WSB rules, which limit the MSRP for its production-oriented racers to $40,000. It makes it a much better option for treks.
Many of the Ninja ZX-10R’s fantastic engine, suspension, and chassis components are also present in the 2023 Kawasaki ZX-10RR ABS Sports Motorcycle. Thanks to Kawasaki’s WorldSB racing efforts, it is the only single-seater superbike built to win a World Championship. The Ninja ZX-10RR engine was designed with pure performance in mind.
It has several performance enhancements, including camshafts that are specially designed for it, intake and exhaust valve springs that can adjust the camshaft, lightweight pistons with DLC coating and matching piston pins, lighter than Pankl—removing the weight titanium connecting rods, and intake funnels air box. These engine enhancements provide a higher rpm range and faster engine response. Marchesini forged wheels are fitted with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tires, which are specially designed to meet the needs of the powerful engine.
2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR ABS Sports Motorcycle – Features and Specs
Lightweight Connecting Rod – Pankl Titanium
1 PS of the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR ABS Sports Motorcycle… The higher power gain over the standard Ninja ZX-10R and its higher rpm range is attributed to adopting a lightweight titanium connecting rod.
Portable, lightweight piston
Each lighter piston saves twenty grams. Due to the low counterweight, smooth rising rpm and a high rev range are possible.
Rebuilt camshafts for RR only
Newly developed camshafts for RR vehicles are aimed at producing high rpm performance.
Fresh valve springs
Intake and exhaust valve springs designed for engines with higher rev ratios increase performance. Greater precision in the manufacture of machined valve spring retainers increases the reliability required for high-rpm operation.
DLC cylinder inserts
A DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating on the piston pins, which matches the piston, protects against wear.
High level suspension
The WSB-developed BFRC Light (Balance Free Rear Cushion) shock and BFF (Balance Free Front Fork) have more circuit-focused settings that aid light handling and front-to-rear weight transfer.
Just a chair
The Ninja ZX-10RR’s track focus has improved from its single seat.
Marchesini Braided Tire
Marchesini specially designed 7-spoke multi-directional forged aluminum wheels, significantly aiding in light handling when changing direction. They provide a good combination of low moment inertia and high stiffness, and their machined finish gives them an excellent appearance.
Tires Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP
Premium Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires come standard on the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR ABS Sports Motorcycle.
Superior Brembo brake system performance
Next-level braking capability is provided by a specially designed radial-pump master cylinder, race-quality steel-braided lines, and two high-spec Brembo M50 monobloc calipers with large æ330 mm discs. The Ninjas are exclusive steels for the ZX-10RR—braided lines.
Lightweight chassis
In addition to the 2019 model’s i.e. 2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR ABS, widely praised stability, chassis design improvements help improve cornering performance and light handling.
Air-cooled oil cooler
Kawasaki’s latest air-cooled oil cooler incorporates an independent circuit, typically used in high-performance versions, in response to race machine feedback.
Combined winglets
During acceleration, the downforce generated by the upper cowl fins helps keep the front wheel on the ground.
Engine
The 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR ABS Sports Motorcycle’s powerful 4-stroke, 998 cm3 liquid-cooled in-line generator engine has received four updates that deliver improved emissions without sacrificing performance.
Aerodynamic riding position
A more aggressive, circuit-focused riding position is facilitated by updated handlebar and footpeg placement, and a new seat shape reduces drag when tucked behind the windshield during straight-line riding.
Integrated riding modes: Rider (manual), Road, Rain, and Sport
Riders can adjust traction control and power delivery to suit a particular riding situation.
Colorization TFT
Thanks to the new compact all-digital TFT color instrumentation, the cockpit looks high-tech and premium. In addition, the new meter has more features than the 2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR ABS.
The next wave of Ninja-Style
The 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR ABS Sports Motorcycle’s next-generation Ninja styling “face” is the aerodynamic racer-inspired front cowl, accentuating smaller LED headlamps, new Ram air intakes, and a higher windshield.
The gear ratios on the Ninja ZX-10R were optimized for circuit riding. Fast corner exit and strong off-the-line acceleration for strong circuit launches are possible with a larger rear sprocket (39T >> 41T) and lower ratios for first, second, and third gears.
Use of electronic cruise control
Kawasaki’s cruise control system maintains a preset speed with just one button push. Once activated, the rider does not need to apply the throttle continuously. It makes long-distance riding less taxing on the right hand, leading to a comfortable ride and increased ride comfort.
Kawasaki River Sign
Special permission to use the Rivermark on the Ninja ZX-10R was granted to honor its success in the Superbike World Championship.
