It’s not hard to understand why the 2023 Honda Trail 125 Urban Bike is so popular with motorcyclists all around the globe. It takes design cues from our tried-and-true classic Trail 90 and Trail 110, but it’s equipped with a brand-new 125cc engine, fuel injection, disc brakes, and an electronic starter. Even the front wheels have anti-lock brakes! It has the same low frame-to-floor height as the originals, the same incorporated luggage rack, and the same no-clutch semi-automatic gearbox. We’ve given the motor a new bore and stroke for the 2017 model year, but the bike’s top speed, torque spread, and gas mileage are all the same as they’ve always been.
Honda is unrivaled when it comes to producing fun, accessible, and popular miniMOTO models, and the Trail 125 is a beautiful example of such a machine that also pays homage to the past. Like Honda’s retro Monkey and Super Cub, the model harkens back to simpler times in motorcycle history when it seemed like every camper had a CT model on the bumper rack. Still, it also includes the current delights of practical design and hassle-free technology. The Trail 125, based on the city-friendly Super Cub, is perfect for off-road and on-road adventuring thanks to its challenging improvements.
2023 Honda Trail 125 Urban Bike – Features and Specs
125cc Fuel-Injected Engine
The Trail125 ABS may be small in stature compared to some other ATV engines, but it packs a robust and dependable punch.
Upswept Exhaust and Intake
For greater clearance and to keep them away from mud and water, dirt motorcycles place their intake and exhaust high. We’ve done the same thing with the Trail 125 ABS.
Four-Speed Semi-Automatic Transmission
The Trail 125 ABS is a typical motorcycle with a four-speed semi-automatic gearbox that is changed with the rider’s left foot. Here’s the twist: you won’t need to worry about a clutch. The Trail 125’s heel-toe shifter further facilitates its use, mainly while clad in boots.
Electric Start
Simply insert the key and press the button to get going along the road or out on the trail. But since life is full of surprises, we’ve included a starter lever on the Trail 125 ABS, much like the original Trail 90 and Trail 110.
Under-seat Fuel Tank
The Trail 125 ABS has an incredible range for any journey because of its fantastic fuel economy and convenient under-seat fuel tank.
Front Suspension
The suspension of the Trail 125 ABS was built specifically for use off-road. Rubber accordion boots shield the telescoping fork from debris and wear while contributing to the tool’s charmingly antiquated aesthetic.
Twin Rear Shocks
The blackout dual rear shocks and coil springs on the Trail 125 ABS look good and perform a fantastic job of soaking up bumps on the road and the trail. Modifying the preload is a breeze.
Rugged Steel Backbone Chassis
The Trail 125 ABS is a motorcycle designed for exploration. That’s why we built it on a specific, sturdy steel chassis. The layout facilitates getting on and off, with high ground clearance and a rugged, battle-ready appearance.
The small design of the Trail 125 ABS makes it simple to park in crowded areas, transport in a camper van, and stow away when you’re not using it. A Trail 125 is always welcome!!
Center stand
A center stand is an obvious addition to a bike like the Trail 125 ABS. With goods on the rack, it provides more parking possibilities than a simple side stand. It’s also simpler to do maintenance on your bike.
Standard ABS
When stopping in less-than-ideal situations, such as on wet pavement or other compromised surfaces, our front-wheel Anti-Lock Braking System may be a considerable aid. Whether you’re using your new Trail 125 for work or play, this safety feature will put your mind at ease whenever you hit the brakes.
Hydraulic Disc Brakes
The rear disc of the Trail 125 ABS is 190 millimeters in diameter, while the front disc is 220 millimeters for superior stopping power. Even front-wheel anti-lock brakes are included.
Trail-Tuned Gearing
The final-drive gearing of the Trail 125 ABS has a 38-tooth rear sprocket, allowing for easier hill-climbing on trails and dirt roads.
LED Lighting
Light bulbs from the Stone Age? Just ignore them. The LED lighting system on the Trail 125 ABS is lighter, brighter, and lasts longer than conventional bulbs. While the headlamp is more typically shaped like a circle, the indicators have a rougher appearance thanks to their squared-off design.
17-Inch Wire-Spoke Wheels
The brand-new Trail 125 ABS has spoked wheels like any good dirt bike should. They are robust enough to ride on dirt roads (or rough city streets) easily and large enough to go swiftly even in rough terrain.
Ready For On- And Off-Road Adventures
The versatility of the Trail 125 ABS is its finest feature. It’s a ton of fun and useful for getting about town. It’s a blast to drive in the mud and dirt because of its low weight, skid plate, and ground clearance.
Roomy Seating
The Trail 125 ABS offers a beautiful, expansive cockpit thanks to its 31.5-inch seat height and higher handlebar, making it suitable for commuting in urban areas and riding on dirt roads.
Standard Engine Skid Plate
Where your travels lead, you is anyone’s guess. We created the Trail 125 ABS with 6.5 inches of ground clearance, a strong skid plate, and a pair of front brush-guard tubes.
Multi-Function Digital Instruments
The Trail 125 ABS comes standard with the latest and greatest instrumentation. The digital readout includes a tachometer, fuel gauge, clock, and low/high beam indication in addition to the standard speedometer and odometer.
Cargo Rack
Want to bring along some survival supplies in case of a zombie invasion? The Trail 125 ABS has a vast, flat rear load rack. Incorporate our optional cargo box, and you’ll be set for anything!
