Honda’s flexible Rebel 1100 has made ripples in the cruiser industry in the short two years since its launch, thanks to its “new-school” cruiser design that is at home on laid-back Sunday rides, exciting backroad rederiving, and long-distance highway touring. The new “T” trim level adds a “bagger” design and convenience features, making the platform even more competent in 2023. The new Rebel 1100T DCT model has a big handlebar fairing and color-matched, sturdy saddlebags with 35 liters of storage capacity for the Rider’s convenience and gear.
The manual and dual-clutch gearbox variants of the regular Rebel 1100 remain on the market, making this a versatile cruiser with a broader range of applications. Comfortable ergonomics, a relaxing riding posture, and dynamic handling are standard across all three variants, as is a high-performance, water-cooled parallel-twin engine with enough power for the highway, track and acceleration for spirited riding. When Rider considers Honda’s reputation for quality and dependability, Rider’ll see that all three have pretty reasonable list prices. A wide variety of Honda Accessories is available for people who wish to personalize their Rebel.

Bagger!
In 2023, Rebel released the 1100T bagger. Hard, lockable, weather-resistant saddlebags and a windshield/fairing combo are perfect for longer journeys and add plenty of flairs on top of the most outstanding qualities of the Rebel 1100, which include a low seat height, superb handling, a lightweight, and solid 1100cc twin-cylinder engine. Regarding longer journeys, remember that the standard equipment on every Rebel 1100T includes both cruise control and anti-lock brakes. We have various Honda parts and accessories available now, even though the Rebel 1100T is brand new. Styling & Design
The Honda Rebel 1100, with its handlebars, footpegs, and seat forming a triangle that joins Rider and motorcycle, has a stunning appearance but looks much better when parked.
The steel framework is slim, rounded, clean, and has a natural shape. The machine’s 35mm main tube offsets the elegant front, while the back has curving lines. The flangeless, long, low-fuel tank looks excellent in soft, low-contrast two-tone hues that complement its scalloped design. The fuel capacity is enough for traveling at 3.6 gallons, with a reserve of 1.1 gallons.
The narrow, saddle-style seat’s plush texture and increasing foam thickness maximize comfort on extended journeys. The dished form keeps the Rider securely in position, even during rapid acceleration, while the short front portion makes it easy to plant both feet on the ground during stops. The seat can be removed in seconds to expose a roomy 3 liters of storage space and charging ports for devices up to 3 amps through USB-C.
Using a drafting technique, 1mm steel is used for both the front and back fenders, and they are joined using sleek die-cast aluminum brackets. Attaching a passenger seat to the back fender is an optional extra.
The bike’s raw, calm nature is emphasized by the complete absence of shine on every component, from the engine to the frame to the suspension to the D.I.D drive chain.
The new “bagger” design Rebel 1100T DCT comes with a fork-mounted big windshield for protection from the weather, and a pair of lockable hard saddlebags provide 35 liters of storage capacity.
Meter / Controls
The key switch is positioned on the left side of the frame, away from the handlebar. The seat may be uninstalled with the flip of a button as well.
The one-inch clamps and the upright riding posture made possible by the handlebar bend give the bike a rugged appearance. DCT upshift and downshift controls, a horn, an up/down toggle for cycling between riding modes, a select/enter button, and a hazard-light switch are all located on the left-hand switch cluster. The ignition and cruise control buttons are on the steering wheel’s right side.
The screen of the elegant 4.7-inch circular multi-function meter is offset from the instrument’s center of rotation. Its design is reminiscent of a massive analog gauge, but its inverted LCD screen gives it a sleek, futuristic appeal. The indicator has a user-friendly format and displays valuable information such as speed, tachometer, trip meter, and cruise control settings.
Lighting
The low mounting position of the headlamp is an integral part of the bike’s streamlined design; its 6.9-inch diameter housing four direct-emitting LED lamps with thick inner lenses creates a distinctive and stylish appearance. Light guides are strategically placed on both sides of the housing to accentuate the lenses’ character lines and improve visibility.
LED turn signals with a 2.1-inch diameter are also included and complement the Rebel’s design. Round light-guiding rings within the front signals look attractive and serve as position lights while expanding the driver’s field of view.
The LED taillight’s slim, minimalist, oval shape matches the laid-back cruiser aesthetic. A tiny LED light illuminates the license plate.
One machine combines trendy raw aesthetics with exhilarating performance, thrilling performance, cutting-edge controls, and comfortable relaxation.
Hard Saddlebags
That’s what separates a regular guy from a bagger. More than adequate for a weekend vacation and valuable for commuting, the Rebel 1100T comes with color-matched, sturdy saddlebags. The top-opening, lockable design provides further protection from the elements. In addition, they offer an indisputable sartorial touch; after all, a bag makes a bagger a bagger.
1084cc Twin-Cylinder Engine
The Rebel 1100 T’s engine is a model of what a cutting-edge cruiser should be. The compact parallel-twin larder generates consistent torque from idle to redline. Riders will get the proven low-end power of our Africa Twin, plus the effortless cruising and class-leading revs of the Rebel 1100T.
Six-Speed DCT Automatic Transmission
This bike is tailor-made for our cutting-edge Honda automated DCT transmission, the transmission of the future. It has steel gears inside, making it as durable as a standard gearbox. Rider may let it make the shifts for Rider, or Rider can use the paddle shifters to take charge. Leaving it in automatic mode means Rider won’t have to worry about stalling or becoming tired of driving in heavy traffic.
Handlebar-Mounted Fairing
The “batwing” type fairing installed on the handlebars of the Rebel 1100T is an instantly recognizable design element that contributes much to the bike’s street cred and presence. As a bonus, the enhanced wind and weather protection makes the Rebel 1100T ideal for longer journeys, which is excellent since bagger riders love to ride. Need more safety measures?
