The 2023 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Bike is the pinnacle of Ducati’s super sports bike lineup, and for a good reason: it’s a track-ready variant that’ll make even the most experienced riders smile. The contrast distinguishes the unique “Winter Test” livery of the Panigale V4 SP2 between the matte black of the fairings and the matte carbon finish of the rims and wings, and the glossy red highlights and exposed brushed aluminum tank.
The “SP” technical specifications push to the highest of the racing characteristics of the 2023 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Bike and accompany all the enhancements made on the latest version, including a 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale of MotoGP origin, Brembo Stylema R brake calipers, carbon fiber rims, MCS radial master cylinder, billet footpegs, dry clutch, 520 chains, and a specific kit for track use.
2023 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Bike – Features and Specs
Designed for those who want to Rule the Track
The 2022 Ducati Panigale V4 has taken the most important evolutionary step since its inception, improving aerodynamics, ergonomics, the engine, the chassis, and the electronics. The new 2023 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Bike is a limited edition motorcycle built to fully experience the passion of riding on the track.
Engine
The 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale, with its roots in MotoGP, is the beating heart of the 2023 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Bike; it is a V4 with a counter-rotating crankshaft that produces a lot of torque at low rpm and allows the bike to show its racing spirit on the track entirely. Dedicated technological pieces have been added to the Desmosedici Stradale for 2022, resulting in more power and better throttle response.
The unique “Winter Test” livery of the 2023 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Bike is distinguished by the contrast between the matte black of the fairings and the matte carbon finish of the rims and wings, as well as the brilliant red highlights and the exposed brushed aluminum tank.
The Italian flag, which also decorates the official Panigale V4 R SBK, is featured on the wings of the bike’s double-profile design. Ducati Corse branding can be seen near the lower fairing’s new hot air extractors, and the bike’s name appears in red on a detail on the saddle’s double-material black leather.
Chassis
The Desmosedici Stradale strains the aluminum front frame of the 2023 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Bike. The engine is attached straight to the aluminum swing arm and the shell-cast seat post. The bike is more stable under acceleration because of the swing arm’s pivot point, which is positioned to maximize the anti-squat effect (the decrease of the rear’s sinking while leaving curves and applying the throttle). Front and center is a pressurized cartridge damping system developed from racing forks, the Ohlins NPX25 / 30 pressurized fork with 125 mm of travel and electronic control.

Performance
It has 3.1 pounds lighter than the aluminum forged wheels of the Panigale V4 S; the “SP2” version’s 5-split spoke carbon wheels significantly improve the “SP” model’s performance on the track and dynamic attributes.
Because of the carbon rims’ much lower inertia (-26% in the front, -46% in the back), the vehicle is more elegant, easier to turn, and quicker to accelerate out of corners. Exclusive Brembo Stylema R® front brake calipers are used on the 2023 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Bike, providing exceptional stopping power. The features and options available on motorcycles may differ by region. For more information, contact a dealer in your area.

Braking system
The special Brembo Stylema R® front brake calipers on the 2023 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Bike provide a high level of braking power and outstanding consistency of performance, even after a long timed session with no adjustments to the brake lever’s travel.
An all-new Brembo MCS (Multiple Click System) radial pump powers the calipers, and its three different settings let you fine-tune the wheelbase to your preferred braking feel. Like on race motorcycles, the front brake lever has a “remote adjuster” gadget that enables you to change its position by turning a knob on the left grip. Finally, the “SP2” variant has machined ends on the brake and clutch levers to decrease drag.
Rizoma Footpegs
Rizoma foot pegs made from anodized aluminum with carbon fiber heel protectors are also standard on the 2023 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Bike.
When combined with the new tank and saddle shapes introduced for 2022, which are designed to improve control and make the most of the Panigale V4’s performance both on the flying lap and throughout a long session, these racing foot pegs are an essential component of the bike’s redesigned ergonomics.
Suspension
Front and center is a pressurized cartridge damping system developed from racing forks, the Ohlins NPX25 / 30 pressurized fork with 125 mm of travel and electronic control.
This fork, along with the Ohlins TTX36 shock absorber and the Ohlins electronic steering damper, makes up the second generation of the Smart EC 2.0 system, which is distinguished by the OBTI (Objective Based Tuning Interface) logic that, working “by objectives” and not by clicks, grants the rider significantly more intuitive control.
TFT Track evo
The “Track Evo” display mode, inspired by the one used in MotoGP, and the dashboard make it easy to see all the bike’s electrical statistics. The engaged gear indicator is located in the screen’s geographic center, with the tachometer’s horizontal scale occupying the instrument’s uppermost, most prominent position.
There are four colored segments on the right side of the screen, each of which represents a distinct electrical control (DTC, DWC, DSC, and EBC). Each of these areas flashes on and off for as long as the rider needs to determine which indication is active while the electronics are adjusting a particular parameter. This kind of signaling helps the rider comprehend effective control, allowing him to make more informed decisions about the best level to choose and to improve performance more rapidly. The left section of the display includes the stopwatch, lap counter, and current speed.
Ducati Data Analyzer with GPS
The “SP2” edition comes preinstalled with the GPS module needed to activate the automated Lap Time feature, which displays the elapsed time between two checkpoints on the course in real-time.
