The 2023 Ducati MIG-S E-Bike is a fast, powerful, and fun All Mountain that can handle any terrain and give its rider a good time no matter the conditions. Like the rest of Ducati’s 2023 range, the electric mountain bike will get a new, sleek paint job designed by Centro Stile Ducati’s Aldo Drudi. The MIG-S is a major technical leap forward since it uses the more powerful Shimano EP8 engine and other modern parts.
New in its category, the Shimano EP8 drive unit is a benchmark in the market. Despite its small size, the engine can generate up to 85 Nm of torque and weighs just 2.6 kilograms. The engine’s torque is consistently and naturally delivered, making for exceptional handling. You may adjust the motor’s specifications remotely and at any time using the Shimano E-tube Project App, including the maximum torque and assistance timing.
The rider has exceptional control over the Ducati MIG-S, allowing it to go anywhere. This e-mtb is manageable because of the excellent grade components it contains. With a front travel of 150 mm and a rear travel of 140 mm, respectively, the new suspensions are ideal for securely tackling any terrain. They include an adjustable RockShox 35 RC fork and a SuperDeluxe shock absorber. The brakes are powerful 4-piston SRAM Guide T units with 203 mm discs, and the 12-speed SRAM transmission is as precise and reliable as the brakes.
The 29-inch front and 27.5-inch rear THOK e-plus wheels are shod with Pirelli Scorpion Enduro S and Pirelli Scorpion EMTB-S tires, respectively, for maximum grip and traction at high speeds and across rough terrain. The Shimano 630Wh battery’s exterior under-the-downtube positioning offers a low center of gravity and increases stability.
