An optimal rigidity balance for light, agile handling, and stability is provided by a lightweight diamond-type great tensile steel frame because the engine is a stressed element of the chassis.
The mainframe can be made lighter and more compact. The 41mm of the front fork and link-type Monocross rear shock offer 5.1 inches of suspension travel and are calibrated for a blend of comfort and control making it ideal for the street. The surprise is practically horizontally aligned which helps to make the chassis considerably more compact, and the rider can adjust the rear spring preload to match their weight or load.
