It’s also the only V-twin engine in the class. The single Mikuni® downdraft carburetor with a diameter of 26mm offers perfect fuel/air mixing, smooth power delivery and excellent throttle response. A five-speed transmission maximizes the V Star 250’s powerband with a wide gear ratio. Electric starting is simple and reliable. The engine can breathe and emit that classic V-twin roar thanks to the dual chrome exhaust pipes. The automatic cam chain tensioned almost reduces maintenance while extending the engine’s life.

A single front disc brake with a diameter of 282mm and a rear drum brake give ample stopping power. The telescopic front fork has 5.5 inches of travel and adjustable spring preload for versatility under varying loads, while the twin rear shocks have 3.9 inches of travel and adjustable spring preload.
