2022 Triumph Street Scrambler Gold Line Heritage Bike Review Specs Price

Triumph’s fashionable and approachable urban Street Scrambler is powered by a version of the new generation Euro 5 compatible High Torque 900cc twin engine tuned specifically for the Scrambler. The peak torque is 59 LB-FT at 3,250 rpm, and the peak power is 64 HP at 7,250 rpm, so you can expect plenty of power and torque when needed. Comfortable, fun, and easy to master, it has high-specification cartridge forks, dual preload-adjustable rear shocks, wire-spoked wheels with Metzeler Tourance tires, a Brembo front, and a switchable rear brake.

The 2022 Triumph Street Scrambler Gold Line Heritage Bike boasts a distinctive Matt Pacific Blue color scheme highlighting the bike’s rugged good looks and urban attitude. The deep blue color of the tank is well set off by the hand-painted gold lining in the brushed foil knee pad designs and the graphite tank stripe. The Triumph tank emblem is also crafted from gold.

Both the side panel, which has an updated gold Street Scrambler logo and the mudguards are coated in a sleek and sophisticated Matt Jet Black. Matt Pacific Blue accessories, like a fly screen and high-level mudguard, will further accentuate the classic Scrambler appearance. Comfortable, intuitive operation complements the vehicle’s torque-rich performance, hand-painted accents, and luxury design.

The Art of Gold Lining

With careful attention to detail, years of experience, and the steadiest hands, Triumph’s designers have perfected the art of hand-painted gold lining. Thanks to some new Gold Line Edition designs, the overall transition between the two colors is less abrupt. With the help of a special soft-bristled sword-liner brush, the artist applies the gold line carefully by hand, usually in a solo, continuous stroke. A clear finishing coat of lacquer is sprayed to maintain the pinstripe from the elements after it has been painted.

To gain the desired thickness for brushwork, the gold lining paint is specially formed by mixing a solid color with a cellulose lacquer. The artist finishes the new hand-painted 2022 Triumph Street Scrambler Gold Line Heritage Bike in the Gold Line Edition with the signature and their initials to set it apart from the other bikes.
