MV AGUSTA Unveils New Rapido E-Kickscooter

The Serie Oro version of the following e-mobility vehicle from MV Agusta.

The new Rapido Serie Oro electric kick scooter from MV Agusta is the first of its type to have the brand’s Schipani-based colors. The company’s e-mobility family, a line of fashionable, high-performing electric vehicles aimed at the expanding crowds of affluent urban inhabitants looking for a safer, better and more enjoyable way to travel and move around the city daily, now includes RAPIDO following the successful launch of AMO, the very first MV Agusta branded electric scooter.

This variant of the RAPIDO, which draws inspiration from the company’s high-end Serie Oro cars, has the most cutting-edge materials and e-mobility technology and comes in an elegant, traditional black/gold/red livery: A magnesium alloy frame, 10″ tubeless “fat” tires up front and back, twin hydraulic disc brakes, a 48V 500W brushless electric motor with a substantial 50km range and a peak speed of almost 40Km/h (locked at 25Km/h for EU nations), and a top speed of nearly 40Km/h. Riders choose four power control modes with RAPIDO, including pedestrian, Eco, Comfort, and Sport+. RAPIDO can go upwards on rises of up to 14°. As a control panel and speedometer, it has a simple, 4-inch LCD dashboard connected to the rider’s smartphone through a particular app.
