Kawasaki is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its famous Z motorcycle with the 2022 Kawasaki Z900 50th Anniversary Naked Motorcycle model, featuring special colors and graphics applied to the models that continue Kawasaki’s legacy of making 900cc class machines whose performance Lots more than full liter-class motorcycles. It also comes with a limited edition coffee table book to commemorate 50 years of high performance of the Z model. The Z900 and Z650 Sprinkled Z50th Anniversary Editions are dressed in a charming “Firecracker Red” found on mighty Kawasaki machines like the Z1100GP.
The color red was Kawasaki’s signature color in the 1980s, and the Z was specially matched for these 50th-anniversary models, making their aggressive sprinted Z style even more spectacular. Dark blue and silver highlights complement the bright red, and a shining black frame contrasts the bright color. The Z logo and the Kawasaki logo are embossed in gold, and a commemorative Z 50th anniversary logo has been added to its front fender, further distinguishing these awesome models from their standard counterparts.

Engine
The 948cc engine has a smooth, linear power delivery that is easy to control and contributes to the comfort and confidence of the rider, yet the strong mid-range hit that pulls the red line tight gives a lot of pleasure. With an efficient 4-valve responsive liquid cold engine, the DOHC cylinder delivers smooth performance at all rpm.
The lightweight crankshaft design enhances the fast recovery role of the engine. A secondary engine balancer eliminates excess vibration, although the required amount remains to increase the motorcycle’s character and sense of speed. The die-cast cylinder block is rigid while its open deck design helps to save weight.
Connecting passages between cylinders relieves pressure to help reduce pumping losses, improving high rpm performance. Pistons are made using the same unique casting process used to make the ninja found in H2 / H2 â„¢ R. This process creates hollow spaces to achieve the ideal thickness for light weight without sacrificing strength. Downdraft intake design provides a mixture of fuels with the straightest, shortest path to the new combustion chamber for high efficiency. 29mm intake and 24mm exhaust valves complement the port design and enhance the sense of high RPM power to the hard-hitting mid-range.
Digital Fuel Injection (KP)
36 mm of the throttle bodies are used for their ideal mid-range response. Sub-throttle valves, mounted behind the main throttle valves, are controlled by the ECU, so the EFI system has a smooth, sensitive throttle response.
Better intake notes
Sound tests helped shape the airbox for a stimulating sound that varies with engine speed to enhance the riding experience, especially at high rpm. The face of the air inlet is facing upwards so that the occupant can easily hear the intake notes. A dividing wall in the middle of the upper part of the airbox illuminates the high, clear intake note. Intake funnels balance performance and sound. The long 150mm inner pair reinforces the low midrange performance, while the short 50mm outer pair enhances the intake sound.
Emission system
35mm exhaust header is tuned for top-end performance while the exhaust noise level is reduced when idle. Joints between headers 1-4 and 2-3 help increase the torque of the distance between the pipe. The 5.5-liter pre-chamber allows the use of a smaller muffler and helps in mass centralization, as well as reduces noise levels in the idle. The compact muffler design has dual inner chambers that help in performance and increase the exhaust note. Stainless steel & cap and cover provide stylish Z design elements.
Assist and sleeper clutch (KP)
Using the revolving forces of the clutch hub and pressure plate, the clutch is enforced together during acceleration (Assist function) so that low and light clutch springs can be used for light sensing on the lever. During high back-torque, such as common gear selection when shifting down, the sleeper function slips some clutches to help lock the engine, stop stalling, and rear wheel hop. When the clutch is disconnected, the Joder Spring component helps to prevent the Joder.
Chassis
An important component of the Z900’s lightweight, the frame weighs just under 30 pounds and contributes to the light, agile handling of the motorcycle. The frame members are arranged so the frame lines are as straight as possible. When twists were necessary, their angles were as small as possible, resulting in a design that distributes tension very well. The five-point, rigidly mounted engine is a pressure component, which contributes to weight savings. The twin tube rear frame section contributes to lower seat height and easier access to the ground while reducing the vibrations transmitted during the seat.
Inverted front fork
The 41mm inverted front fork features sleepless rebound damping and spring pre-load adjustability in the left fork tube, with adjustable adjustments on the fork cap.
Horizontal backlink rear suspension (KP)
The linkage is placed on top of the swing arm to improve mass centralization and make room for the exhaust pre-chamber. Late down shock absorber is further away from the exhaust so that its operation is not affected by exhaust heat.
Break
Dual 300 mm front petal disc and 250 mm rear petal disc are clamped with dual anti-piston calipers with resin brake pads to provide sufficient braking power. A linear brake touch offers control for riders of all skill levels.
Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) (KP)
The ABS model helps prevent wheel lockups during sudden overuse of brakes or when applying brakes on low-grip surfaces to ensure braking performance.
Wheels and tires
Five-spoke star pattern wheels are lighter, which has more rigidity for advantageous handling. Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tires assist in handling light.
Custom Z styling
The concept of Sugomi styling inspires the aggressive Z styling of the Z900. Sugomi describes the intense radiance or energy given by a person or object of greatness and is felt by the beholder. Someone, or something else, possessing sogomi, evokes fear, leaves an indelible impression, is difficult regarding height or ability, and commands respect. Beautiful bodywork flowing from head to toe is designed to draw attention to its functional beauty by combining minimal coverage in the engine area. A bold appearance emphasized by slim, close-fitting bodywork gives the bike a light, vibrant image which reflects his sporting performance.
TFT Color Instrumentation
The new 4.3-inch all-digital TFT (thin film transistor) color scheme gives the cockpit a high-tech, sophisticated look. TFT provides a high level of visibility. The background color of the screen is selectable (black or white), and the brightness of the screen is automatically adjusted according to the available light.
Display functions include a digital speedometer, shift lamp, gear position indicator, digital bar-style tachometer, fuel gauge, odometer, dual trip meter, current and average fuel consumption, remaining range, total time, average speed, and coolant. Temperature, Battery Voltage, Clock, Kawasaki Service Reminder, Oil Change Reminder and Kawasaki Economic Riding Indicator.
Radiology the App Smartphone Connectivity
Do not use your smartphone while riding. The instrument panel has a Bluetooth chip that enables riders to connect wirelessly to their motorcycle. Using the smartphone application “Radiology the APP,” many device functions can be accessed, which helps to enhance the motorcycling experience.
Vehicle information
Information such as fuel level, mileage, maintenance schedule, etc., can be viewed via smartphone.
Riding Log
GPS route data, as well as driving data, can be logged and considered via smartphone. Telephone Notes: When a call or mail is received via a smartphone, it is indicated on the device’s display. Vehicle settings: Ride mode (Road, Sports, Rain, Ride) can be pre-set on the smartphone and uploaded upon pairing with the bike, such as the riding support system (KQS). And there may be a payload mode.
