2022 Kawasaki KX112 Dirt Motorcycle – Features and Specs
The Bike That Builds Champions
With the new Kawasaki KX112 dirt bike, an improved Kawasaki KX85, and the Kawasaki KX65, the Kawasaki KX Small dirt bike Series for 2022 is getting stronger. The Kawasaki team has a long history of achievement and is dedicated to becoming champions.
The new Kawasaki KX112 Dirt Motorcycle, which bridges the gap between full-size bikes and the most potent 112cc displacement engine, is brand new for 2022.
For nearly four decades, the Kawasaki Squad Green Racing Team has been a dominant force in amateur racing, providing emergency and unequal trackside assistance to racers nationwide. As part of the Team Green Racing program, a trackside support structure consisting of local, regional, and amateur motocross and off-road events has been established nationwide. There, Kawasaki mechanics and racing transporters are present to assist all riders with the necessary components and technical support. Kawasaki’s efforts, as well as the impressions of passionate young stars, have resulted in a wide range of successful products.
Engine Features
New 112cc Two-Stroke Engine With Class Leading Torque New Strong 6-Speed Gear Box New Factory Inspired Styling. New Dunlop MX33 tires, including a new radiator shroud design.
A high-performance 2-stroke engine with more power and displacement than the KX85 for torque increases the displacement for more power and torque than the previous KX100. More riders can fit in better with the new Shrouds.
Perfect transition from mini cycle to full-size KX models with 6-way adjustable handlebar mounts and sophisticated suspension components.
The brand-new KX112 builds on the features of its predecessor to provide more race-winning ability in a highly competitive class. The KX112 feels fast everywhere on the track because of its superior power, especially where riders can take advantage of its much lower torque.
The 2022 two-stroke, single-cylinder KX112 has been increased in size and stroke to 5.8 mm, giving it a bore and stroke of 52.5 x 51.6 mm. The new engine, when combined with the power valve system, produces very little torque, which translates to faster speeds out of curves and more powerful drives when leaving corners.
Throughout the RPM range, power and torque are increased, with the peak power significantly increased. The latest intake and exhaust port timing increases the KX112’s low rpm torque, while the new piston shape adds longevity. The contact level of the piston ring has been modified, which enhances the initial bedding efficiency.
The connecting rod was extended to 7 mm to reduce the lateral load on the piston and provide more efficient power. With the new long-stroke engine, a 4mm more extensive crankshaft web provides greater matching power than the larger crankpin offset.
The carburetor settings have been adjusted to match the brand-new engine, resulting in a crisp response in the RPM range. To help utilize high engine output, a brand new 6-speed gearbox, and strong bearing retainers for small-headed needle bearings, as well as large-end needle bearings with improved load capacity. Thrust washers have been added to increase durability and reduce friction. Large gear dogs are fitted to enhance durability and reduce friction.
To harness the engine’s power, a solid high tensile steel frame was designed, offering the advantages of strength and torsional rigidity that allow riders to push hard on the track.
Ergo-Fit
For rider comfort and control, proper fit is essential. However, depending on the rider’s physical proportions and riding style, the perfect fit varies from rider to rider.
ERGO-FIT is a riding positioning interface system that allows riders to find their ideal riding position.
