Design / Styling

The Honda Grom, now the most widely purchased miniMOTO, is a fantastic source of inspiration in terms of design. The Navi looks more like a fast motorcycle than a scooter since the rider’s legs straddle the gasoline tank and their feet rest on side-mounted pegs. The rear brake is activated by a lever on the rider’s right foot rather than a left-hand lever as in scooters.

The scooter-like placement of the engine allows for extra space in front of the seat, where a lockable storage pod may be used to secure items like books, a jacket, and a water bottle. Although the wheels, suspension, engine, and exhaust are all black, the chassis is painted in bright colors and includes side panels that are patterned like Honda’s famous CRF brand of dirt bikes. The main headlamp has a hexagonal shape.

Honda Signature Accessories, such as two special graphics kits developed in collaboration with South Carolina hunting-apparel manufacturer True Timber and two special graphics kits developed in partnership with edgy Portland gear manufacturer Icon, are available for the Navi to encourage personalization, much like the Grom.

The instrumentation set includes a big, easy-to-read analog speedometer and a helpful fuel indicator without any unnecessary frills.

Engine / Drivetrain

Despite having a rear-mounted, non-shifting engine, the design is unmistakably motorcycle. The refined and quiet motor, which features Honda’s impressive eSP friction-reducing technology, is derived from the celebrated Activa (a prevalent model in scooter-obsessed Asia), and it offers exceptional fuel efficiency with an excellent EPA fuel mileage rating of 110.3 mpg.

When you include Honda’s outstanding durability and longevity, the result is a very cheap running cost. The Navi placed a premium on these features, along with those of ease and security. The fan-cooled, forward-tilted cylinder of the 109.2cc, single-cylinder, two-valve, overhead camshaft the four-stroke engine ensures optimal performance. The bore and stroke are 55.0 and 55.6 millimeters, and the compression ratio is 9.5:1. The Navi is equipped to provide unlimited kilometers of trouble-free driving, and its usable power is adequate for getting going quickly from stops and getting around other cars.

Power is sucked in via a 16 mm carburetor and sent to a reliable belt drive using Honda’s tried-and-true, effective, and simple-to-maintain V-Matic® automatic gearbox. Since there is no clutch or shift lever, operating the vehicle is simple and intuitive, allowing riders to focus on the road and their surroundings.

Chassis / Suspension

Thanks to the relatively broad 50.6-inch wheelbase, the painstakingly engineered Navi frame provides excellent stability and handling. Superb ease and relaxation when riding.

A sturdy 26.8 mm inverted telescopic fork and a single side-mounted rear shock absorber combine to provide a stable, pleasant ride. The front and rear pressed-steel wheels are 12 inches in diameter to handle road hazards confidently. The vehicle’s stopping power comes from the front and rear brakes, measuring 130 mm apiece. There is a lever on its left side of the steering wheel that engages the parking brake.

Since the seat height is just 30.1 inches and the width decreases toward the front, most riders will be able to place both feet on the ground during stops comfortably. The passenger’s grip is secure because of the grab rail behind the seat.

The Navi’s very long range is made possible by its. 9-gallon fuel tank, even though it consumes very little petrol. Because of its lightweight (236 pounds when completely loaded), the Navi is simple to maneuver in congested areas, fit into tight parking spots, and mount on an RV’s bumper rack.
