The Evolution of Ducati Never Stops: New Ducati Panigale V4
The initial invention of the new Ducati 2022 Panigale V4 is related to aerodynamics. The Ducati’s engineers focused on firing, now including thinner, efficient, and compact double-profile design wings. The modification guarantees the same vertical load of up to 81lb at 186mph. Additionally, new exhaust sockets have been installed at the bottom of the firing to improve the cooling system and engine performance, especially on track days.
In-depth advances have also been absorbed in ergonomics to improve bike control during track sessions so that riders can enhance the performance of the Ducati Panigale V4 on both practical and theoretical levels.
The 2022 Panigale V4 now includes a new logic of power modes that offers four engine configurations: Full, High, Medium, and Low. While the upper and middle configurations use a new tactic, the complete and low arrangements are newly created. Except for first gear, the full power mode used by the Panigale V4 is by far the most aggressive and enables the engine to express its full potential with an electronic filter-free torque cruise. For high and medium power modes, a new ride-by-wire map management system has been developed. These adjustments, combined with exceptional engine calibration, enable Desmosedici Stradale to produce 210 hp at 12,500 revolutions per minute. At 11,000 rpm, the engine has an additional 90.6 lb-ft of torque.
Chassis
The newly designed 2022 Panigale V4 and Panigale V4 S chassis have undergone several significant upgrades. Specific technical decisions are a product of the knowledge gained in MotoGP and SBK and are intended to enhance on-track performance. Achieved with a better time, less effort, and more consistency was the ultimate goal, which was very clear.
A powerful chassis component is the Desmosideki Estradiol, which is attached directly to the aluminum front frame. A lightweight magnesium front frame and an aluminum seat post with shell cast and screwed to the rear edge head at the bottom of the chassis.
Electronics
The Panigale V4 has a state-of-the-art electronics package built on a 6-axis interlocking platform that instantly detects motorcycle roll, yaw, and pitch angles. An electronics package controls each part of the ride: some controls monitor to start, acceleration, and braking. Others manage traction; and still, help with other curves and straight paths.
