The new Chief gives you a stripped-down way to ride, where power, simplicity, and attitude are the most important things. It leads you back to the days of glory of American V-twins when it was the stuff of legends to hit the road with good friends and only the essentials. The new Chief Bobber is also there. The Chief Bobber looks like the classic post-war V-twins bobbed and chopped by military veterans and blue-collar rebels who wanted to break the rules. It has big tires wrapped around spoke wheels, a beefed-up front end, and a single bobber seat. And finally, Indian Motorcycle has the Super Chief. It has saddlebags and a windshield, so it can be used in more ways and encourages riders to go further and take more risks.
The new Indian Chief line is where simplicity and strength meet. Chief models are based entirely on a classic steel welded tube frame. They are simple and made of metal. The lineup has a four-gallon fuel tank, a bobbed rear fender, dual outboard preload-adjustable rear shocks, dual exhaust, LED lighting, keyless ignition, and Pirelli Night Dragon tires. Riders of the Chief can change how the throttle responds by choosing one of three ride modes: sport, standard, or tour.
