According to a German proverb, “One who travels with goals never travels alone.” It is especially true if you are traveling with someone else. The 2022 BMW K 1600 GTL Cruisers embodies both of these features. It provides performance touring that fulfills all your desires. Its robust six-cylinder engine now delivers dynamics and excellent character: you can enjoy every mile by pleasantly adjusting the vehicle’s geometry.
The cockpit has also been completely rebuilt. It is fully designed to communicate with you, allowing you to appreciate each visit more deliberately and intensely because the journey together starts here – in real #RideAndShare fashion.
2022 BMW K 1600 GTL Cruisers – Features and Specs
Engine Features
The new K1600 GT, 2022 BMW K 1600 GTL Cruisers, B, and Grand America motorcycle series are powered by the thinnest six-cylinder inline engine, measuring 21.9 inches wide and weighing 226 pounds. Its displacement remains unchanged at 1,649 cubic centimeters. The engine offers excellent touring features and riding capabilities with the new six-cylinder version delivering the highest performance levels.
The six-cylinder engine has been updated to the new 2022 BMW K 1600 GTL Cruisers. Technically, the use of BMS engine management, two knock sensors and two more Lambda probes is the focus of editing.
In addition to the two Lambda sensors located at each of the three exhaust manifold junctions, two additional Lambda sensors are mounted behind two catalytic converters, which can be used to accurately determine the level of residual oxygen in the exhaust gas and, Thus more accurate combination of air/fuel and ignition through engine control.
In addition to significantly improved pollution values, there are significant improvements in the power and torque of the six-cylinder engine. 160 hp power output is now achieved at 6,750 rpm – 1,000 rpm. At 5,250 rpm, the maximum torque improves from 129 lb-ft to 133 lb-ft. It increases the acceleration, especially in the critical ride range of 3,500 to 7,000 rpm.
Dynamic ESA “Next Generation” Electronic Suspension
BMW Motorrad Dynamic ESA “Next Generation” (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) on the new 2022 BMW K 1600 GTL Cruisers improves ride safety, performance, and comfort by automatically adjusting the damping to suit ride conditions and ride style. Makes Automatic load level correction system included.
The new 6-axis sensor box signals, as well as two front and rear sensors, allow complete data collection and, as a result, make critical adjustments to the K1600 in ride conditions. Ride conditions such as spring compression, acceleration, and deceleration are monitored and used to correct damping forces on the rear suspension street and the delivery front suspension.
New LED Adaptive Head Lamp
BMW has been a pioneer in bike safety for decades. As a result, LED lighting is standard on the new 2022 BMW K 1600 GTL Cruisers. The new whole LED head lamp illuminates the street with brilliant, clear light and is made up of an LED module with nine LEDs for low beam headlights and two LEDs for two high beam headlight modules. D has four additional LED modules.
The standard tuning “adaptive headlamp” feature includes a low beam LED headlight that curves according to the angle of the heel because the light is where K 1600 goes, and the curves are almost entirely bright.
