Engine Features
Six-cylinder inline engine with advanced engine management, knock sensor system, latest emissions, and engine drag torque control. The new 2022 BMW K 1600 B Touring Bike is powered by the thinnest six-cylinder inline engine, measuring 21.9 inches wide and weighing 226 pounds. Its displacement remains unchanged at 1,649 cubic centimeters. The engine offers excellent touring features and riding capabilities with the new six-cylinder version delivering the highest performance levels.
The six-cylinder engine has been updated to the new K 1600 GT, GTL, B and existing EU-5 regulations for use in Grand America from a technical point of view.
Dynamic ESA “next-generation” Electronic Suspension with Load Correction
BMW Motorrad Dynamic ESA “Next Generation” (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) on the new 2022 BMW K 1600 B Touring Bike improves ride safety, performance, and comfort by automatically adjusting the damping to suit ride conditions and ride style. The new 6-axis sensor box signals, as well as two front and rear sensors, allow complete data collection and, as a result, make critical adjustments to the 2022 BMW K 1600 B Touring Bike in ride conditions.
New Complete LED Adaptive Head Lamp for High Street Lighting
BMW Motorrad has been a pioneer in bike safety for decades. As a result, LED lighting is standard on the new 2022 BMW K 1600 B Touring Bike. The new whole LED head lamp illuminates the street with brilliant, clear light and is made up of an LED module with nine LEDs for low beam headlights and two LEDs for two high beam headlight modules. D has four additional LED modules.
The standard tuning “adaptive headlamp” feature includes a low beam LED headlight that curves according to the angle of the heel.
New light functions for “Welcome,” “Goodbye,” and “Walk to My Home.”
The new lighting features make the new six-cylinder K-1600 more comfortable and practical to drive. When the ignition is turned on, for example, the Welcome Light feature is enabled. The headlights and rear lights stay on for a while before the engine starts, before fading while waiting. During the procedure, the transition gradually subsides.
When the ignition is off, the front and rear lights for the “Goodbye” feature are temporarily turned on, illuminating the area around the motorcycle.
