In 2021, Moto Guzzi will commemorate its 100th anniversary, which will be a momentous occasion. For one hundred years at Mandello del Lario, the finest bikes have been created by blending the latest technological advancements with the highest quality Italian craftsmanship. Moto Guzzi has stood for these principles since 1921.
As a result, the V85 TT was conceived, honoring Moto Guzzi’s rich legacy of daring journeys and evoking memories of races like the Paris–Dakar. This legendary African race was at its peak in the early 1980s. The V85 TT is a tribute to this rich tradition.

Minimalism, Ease and Practicality
Typical of enduro bikes from that decade, the V85 TT is based on the principles of simplicity, easiness, and practicality, which are being lost in an increasingly commercial market where the goods presented favor substantial sizes and weights, a trend that the V85 TT aims to reverse. In the end, Moto Guzzi V85 TT accomplished its lofty objective of uniting a vintage-inspired design aesthetic with a contemporary touring enduro chassis. As a result, it has the distinction of being the first and only classic enduro available for purchase.
Engine
In 2021, Moto Guzzi unveiled an improved version of its best-selling V85 TT after the original model’s popularity from critics and the general public. The engine is the primary focus of the changes. A 90-degree transverse, air-cooled V-twin with pushrod and rocker timing systems and two valves per cylinder (titanium intake cylinders) is still the distinctive configuration for all Moto Guzzi motorcycles now in production. To improve low and medium rpm torque, the timing cams have been optimized, and the engine management electronics have been reprogrammed.
Chassis
Tubeless tires mounted on the new spoked wheel rims result in a weight reduction of around 1.5 kg, improving exceptional riding dynamics. When it comes to the electrical systems that help the rider maintain control over traction and ABS, two additional Riding Modes have been added to the current three (Strada – Street, Pioggia – Rain, Offroad). Also included are cruise control and a color TFT instrument panel. As an option, Moto Guzzi MIA, the Moto Guzzi multimedia platform, may be used in conjunction with Moto Guzzi MIA to increase the functionality of the instrument panel. Nero Etna, Giallo Mojave, and Rosso Uluru are the three new color schemes offered for the V85 TT.
Technical Upgrades
A Touring windscreen, side panniers from the Urban series with high cargo capacity, a pair of auxiliary LED lights and a set of adjustable heated handgrips are all included in the V85TT Travel’s complete equipment package consisting of the Moto Guzzi MIA multimedia platform.
