2021 Triumph Bonneville T100 Scrambler – Features and Specs
Enhanced Performance
The new 2021 Triumph Bonneville T100 Scrambler is powered by a 900cc twin-cylinder Bonneville engine that has been significantly updated for 2021, resulting in a lighter and quick responsive drivetrain.
Peak power is 10PS more than the previous generation, at 65PS at 7,400 rpm, and maximum torque is 80NM at 3750rpm, with 80 percent of peak torque available from 2000 rpm to 7000rpm, providing rapid acceleration anytime it is required. The upgrades enhance the power and torque of the new 2021 Bonneville T100 from 3500rpm to the rev red line, which is 500 rpm higher than the 2020 Triumph Bonneville T100.
The new T100 engine surpasses EURO 5 requirements, with fewer emissions and improved fuel efficiency.
The engine of the new T100 is notably lighter than the previous version, thanks to a low inertia crankshaft, more lightweight balancer shafts, a thin-walled clutch cover, and a magnesium cam cover contributing significantly to the 4kg weight reduction of an all-new 2021 Bonneville T100. This weight drop, along with the increased power, results in a noticeable improvement in throttle response and ride quality.
A considerable service interval of 10,000 miles or 16,000 kilometers contributes to a low overall cost of ownership.
The T100 may be installed with an A2 license kit for European markets, which a Triumph dealer can readily remove after the owner has passed their test to restore full power. Local market legal standards will be followed.
Enhanced Handling
The 4kg weight decrease has improved the handling of the 2021 Bonneville T100, significantly enhancing the bike’s agility.
The T100 also has a higher-specified Brembo 2-piston front brake for improved stopping power, bite, and feel.
The new higher-spec cartridge front forks, dual rear shocks and 32-spoke classically fashioned wheels improve the T100’s nimble and easy-handling feel for a confident ride.
ABS and switchable traction control are sensitively and unobtrusively integrated to maximize rider safety and offer a pleasant riding experience.
A comfortable rider and pillion seat, ideal for short and long journeys, and a torque-assist clutch to alleviate rider fatigue and assure comfort.
The seat is removed with a key for simple access to the under-seat USB port, and the seat height is 790mm. It, along with the T100’s compact stand-over profile, results in a rooted and secure feeling at a stop.
Enhanced Style and Detailing
The new Bonneville T100 for 2021 also comes with a new instrument dial look with the Bonneville logo and classic font. The inbuilt multi-function display is accessed using the handlebar-mounted scroll button.
Beautiful and genuine aesthetic features abound throughout the T100, from the contrast piping on the seat to the knee pads on the distinctive Bonneville tank cut-outs, the steel rear mudguard, chrome-finished mirrors, chrome handlebars, chrome headlight bezel, and chrome filler cap. The backlight is tiny and attractive, and it is entirely LED for power efficiency and stunning excellent visibility.
The new 2021 Triumph Bonneville T100 Scrambler comes in three classic colors: Lucerne Blue and Fusion White with hand-painted silver coach lines; a sleek, single-tone Jet Black option; and a second twin color scheme in Carnival Red and Fusion White with hand-painted silver coach lines.
The rider may customize their T100 with 117 authentic accessories. These have all been created and tested alongside the bike to guarantee optimal integration and give many possibilities for customizing the T100 to the rider’s preferences and demands.
Owners can discover a large selection of bags, as well as alternatives for seats and displays, in the accessories catalog. Internally wired heated grips improve comfort and control in colder areas, while cruise control reduces throttle strain on more extended travels.
The collection of available Genuine Triumph Accessories allows for an even more blacked-out look with black exhaust headers, rings, and silencers.

These classic British motorcycle legends have been masterfully transformed into a gorgeous new generation with even more performance, capability, character, and elegance.
2021 Triumph Bonneville T100 Scrambler – For Beginners
If you’re looking for your first bike, we believe the Triumph Bonneville T100 is a terrific option! The T100 is a good-sized motorcycle with power, excellent handling, and comfortable riding. It also features a low 31″ seat, making it suitable for shorter riders, especially ladies ready to ride on two wheels.
The T100 is also the least expensive model in the Bonneville lineup. It is a 5-speed gearbox rather than a 6-speed transmission, but it still delivers a powerful punch. The engine produces a modest 55 horsepower and 59 pound-feet of torque; although this may not seem impressive, it implies a simple ride, especially for novices. The bike also tolerates even clumsy clutch usage, which is a big plus for beginning riders.
2021 Triumph Bonneville T100 Scrambler – Test Ride
There’s a lot to be said about making a contemporary classic seem sleek, sophisticated, and neat, but Triumph’s Bonneville series consistently hits the nail.
In person, the T100 seems highly similar to the higher-spec, 1200cc T120 (or metal). It’s a conventional design that appears sophisticated, yet if there are any criticisms, it nearly seems a little too essential when it leaves the factory.
When you get on, the T100 offers an amazingly relaxing riding posture, with a great blend of seat, ‘bar, peg settings and a low height for easy access to the floor.
The cockpit is also a wonderful place to be, although on the minimalistic side, which means that if you’re not into all your TFT displays, electronic gizmos, and all the other jazz that comes with it, you’ll observe right at home on one of these.
It’s lovely not to be swamped with buttons and options; however, I wasn’t a huge lover of the switchgear since some of the controls (such as the indicators) seemed a little out of place. Having said that, after a few kilometers on the saddle, I became used to it.
