Suspension
The WP XACT air fork on the KTM SX-E 5 is entirely adjustable and provides excellent comfort, damping, and directional stability.
As a result of the air spring in the left fork leg, this upside-down front fork may be fine-tuned to the rider’s weight by utilizing an air pump.
The superb damping performance of the WP XACT shock absorber is related to the swingarm. As well as being adjustable to fit the rider and the track, it has 185mm of travel.
Brake system
To provide maximum safety and the most significant possible deceleration – for even the youngest riders – FORMULA hydraulic brakes with lightweight WAVE discs are used on the front and back axles.
Frame
SX-proven profiles and lightweight, high-strength steel provide the framework for this model. Robot welding allows for exact construction to accommodate the electric motor train. Polyamide extrusions, reinforced with fiberglass, make up the lightweight, strong subframe of the KTM SX-E 5. It adds to the SX-E 5’s excellent handling and stability.
Suspension Position
Lowering the brand new front fork in the triple clamps and moving the rear shock to a different location allows you to reduce the whole bike.
Bodywork Position
The READY TO RACE ergonomics of the combustion model was replicated using a plastic spacer piece without the need for a fuel tank.
As good as or even better than the KTM SX-E5. The seat height may be decreased by 25 mm by adjusting this component.
Adjustable Seat Height
You choose many different settings for the KTM SX-E 5’s seat height adjustment. It is possible to lower the seat’s height from 665 mm to 615 mm, the standard model.
KTM Powerparts Lowering Kit
The WP suspension units may be further lowered to a minimum seat height of only 560 mm with a Suspension Lowering Kit from the KTM Power Parts catalog, making them suitable for riders as young as four years old.
