Liquid-Cooled V-Twin Architecture
The renowned Harley-Davidson® V-Twin engine has been the cornerstone of the company’s products since 1909. The Revolution® Max engine carries on this heritage into the middleweight performance segment. To enhance airflow and boost performance, the cylinders have a 60-degree vee angle that allows for twin down draught throttle bodies. For consistent performance in various riding and climatic conditions, the use of liquid cooling ensures that the engine’s temperature remains stable.
High-Performance Development Collaboration – Braking and Tire
Harley-Davidson® used the brake and tire performance knowledge of world-class component manufacturers to enhance the performance of the new Pan AmericaTM and BronxTM models. Harley-Davidson® and Brembo® cooperated to produce an extreme radial monoblock four-piston caliper that mixes sharp edges with gentler curves to create a look that suits the bike’s personality and offers excellent braking feel and capabilities. Co-branded tires developed by Michelin® and Harley-Davidson® for each motorcycle model maximize performance, feel, and grip in all-weather situations and are available for purchase.
