The new 2021 Ninja ZX-10R, 2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ABS KRT Edition Sports Bike, and Ninja ZX-10RR are designed for those ready to work, with integrated winglets, small and light LED headlights, with TFT color With brand new aerodynamic body. Instrumentation of smartphone connectivity and high-tech updates obtained directly from KRT. For 2021, Kawasaki engineers have replaced the engine and chassis. Kawasaki’s three-liter class supersport models are based on the KRT race machine, which has set record after record at the Superbike World Championships.
Engine upgrades provide more power and a broader power band, which will help them win more races. It’s as close as possible to the official Kawasaki World Superbike team. Take a closer look at the Ninja ZX-10R.
The Ninja ZX-10R has won six World Superbike Championships. It now presents the championship-winning performance to users with an upgraded high-performance package that extends its range to a wide range of riders on the track. Let’s feel the urge to move forward.
2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ABS KRT Edition Sports Bike – Features and Specs
Integrated Riding Modes: Sport, Road, Rain, Rider (Manual)
Riders can choose a sport, road, rain, or manual rider. Each system can be set freely in manual rider mode.
Sports: Allows riders to enjoy circuit riding and sporty back road rides. The term “road” refers to various conditions, from city rides to highway cruising and rural roads. When cycling on low traction surfaces, the rain reassures the rider. The riding mode can be changed by pressing a button on the left handlebar.
S-KTRC (Sport-Kawasaki TRaction Control)
Because a certain amount of slide is required for the fastest speed, S-KTRC enables the slip to improve traction. The ratio of appropriate decline varies depending on the situation. The system monitors various factors to provide an accurate real-time picture of what’s happening, complemented by real-time feedback from IMU, which allows for ethical management.
Every five milliseconds, the system verifies the situation by reviewing each parameter and its rate of change. Control is provided by electronic throttle valves and ignition systems, which allow speedy response times.
Corner Management Function
The Corner Management Function employs KIBS and S-KTRC to help racers maintain their desired line through track corners and reduce the tendency to be on the bike while applying the brakes. Based on the motorcycle’s lean and pitch angles, IMU helps the system maintain maximum hydraulic pressure.
Available Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS) (KP)
For extra braking confidence, a high-accuracy system with smooth feedback is used. To modulate the brake pressure, the engine ECU communicates with the ABS ECU (which monitors wheel speed and front caliper hydraulic pressure). Compared to traditional ABS systems, high-precision control gives a sense of greater consistency. For best performance, the backtrack limiting clutch mechanism disables ABS during the downshift.
Electronic Steering Damper (ESD)
The improved steering provided by the electronic steering damper helps riders to relax more, resulting in less fatigue. Damping is enhanced to improve performance during high or low speeds.
Hollins’s unique twin-tube design ensures consistent damping performance and excellent kickback absorption, even in the most challenging track conditions. Due to the high-accuracy construction of the damper and the use of integrated clamps, the friction during the movement of the damper piston is minimized, resulting in a very smooth starting motion.
Finger-Follower Valve Actuation
Engineers who won the Kawasaki Multimedia World Superbike Championship have built a finger-follower valve train that allows aggressive cam profiles and fast valve opening and closing for more excellent performance.
Compared to a tape-style process, the finger follower valve activation valve reduces the mass of the train by about 20% while also reducing the friction in the cam lobe. Followers have a DLC (carbon-like a diamond) coating that helps prevent wear. Lightweight titanium intake and exhaust valves reduce each other’s weight. The height of the cylinder head is reduced by the compact valve train.
Ram Air Intake
For maximum air box filling effect, the ram air duct is located near the front of the motorcycle. For better race track acceleration, a larger 10-liter airbox helps increase engine response and lower mid-range power. To help reduce intake noise, a resonator chamber is built into the frame spars.
Titanium Alloy Exhaust
Thanks to a revised collector pipe design, the engine’s tremendous performance is maintained while meeting current emission standards.
A catalyzer was moved upwards, where it could heat up faster and increase its efficiency, resulting in clearer emissions. To accommodate this, the volume of the exhaust pre-chamber has been reduced, and the silencer has been increased by about five inches. Because titanium alloys are more heat resistant than pure titanium, the exhaust system can be made smaller and lighter while maintaining longevity.
The diameter and length of the header pipes are pretty comparable to the headers used in race, which makes it easier to improve circuit performance by increasing competition. Use slip-on muffler only
New Aerodynamic Styling
The cowl at the top is designed to interact with the large windshield so that the drag can be cut too much and contributes to the basic shape of a race bike while preserving a particular ninja character.
The upper coil’s “reverse cylinder” design places the new Mitsubishi direct projection LED headlights on the underside of the upper coil, which is invisible to the rider. The uninterrupted surface gives the cyclist a more race-like perspective.
The LED headlights are bright, small, and light, weighing about a pound less than the halogen units of the previous model. Kaul’s aerodynamic performance is aided by the flush fit of the centrally located LED position lamp.
