649cc Twin-Cylinder, DOHC Engine
It was tuned to provide robust, responsive power for every day riding that builds confidence in new riders while the sport is also quite energetic for riding. Camshaft profiles are optimized for speed and performance. In addition, the thin intake port shape helps improve engine response and performance.
Power Sensation is improved by the Airbox design, which features a large-scale duplicate entry. The exhaust system includes a short header, and the internal structure of the smooth muffler further improves power transmission. The muffler is under the engine to help reduce the center of gravity and distribute the weight more evenly.
The radiator fan core for Kawasaki Air Management System (KP) (KAMS) helps to direct hot engine air to the ground and away from the rider.
Digital Fuel Injection (KP)
Fuel injection settings add to the rapid recovery of the engine by offering a smooth low-end response. The 36mm throttle body has precise atomizing injectors for better engine response and lower to mid-range output.
Throttle bodies are fitted with sub-throttle valves (KP) for better performance and riding ability. The ECU controls the sub-throttle, located behind the main throttle valves, to give the EFI system a more accurate throttle response, similar to a constant speed carburetor. Emissions are significantly decreased when the exact fuel injection is combined with the exhaust catalyzer.
Assist and Slipper Clutch (KP)
The clutch is pressed together during acceleration (Assist function) using the rotating forces of the clutch hub and pressure plate, allowing the use of low and light clutch springs for a soft feeling on the lever. The sleeper feature allows some clutches to slip in high backlight conditions, such as when the low gear is selected, to help reduce engine lockup and stalling, as well as rear-wheel hop.
Frame
High-tensile steel trails are designed to reduce the frame’s dimensions and wall thickness significantly to reduce the structure’s weight and assist in exceptionally delicate handling.
The frame components are connected as much as possible to the pipeline to ensure that the frame lines are as straight as possible. When turning was required, the angles were kept as short as possible, resulting in a design that effectively distributed the load. To help with weight loss, a three-point rigid engine and a foot peg stay are used as pressure elements.
Horizontal Back-link Rear Suspension (KP)
The Ninja® ZX-10R’s horizontal backlink progressive suspension technology maximizes balance, sport ride capability, and ride comfort. The connection is mounted on top of the swing arm to make way for the under-engine muffler, which helps to distribute the mass better. Since the previous shock is located farther away from the exhaust, it will not be affected by the heat generated by the exhaust.
41mm Front Fork
To enhance the look, the triple upper clamp includes attractive strong ribs on the upper surface.
Triple Petal Design Brake Discs
Nissin brake calipers have a stylish look and feel and control the magnificent brakes. For exceptional braking sensations, the front brake calipers hold dual 300 mm petal discs and use large pistons of 27 mm. The petal design provides excellent cooling and warping resistance.
Wheels and Tires
The lightweight, sleek aspect of the sporty five-spoke wheel design. The Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tires help in light handling.
Confidence-Inspiring Cockpit
Separate clip-on type handlebar mounts are placed prominently above the triple upper clamp for the offensive sport ride stand. To help maintain comfort, the position of the legs is opened by placing them down and forward. The front seat is low and narrow so that it is easy for the rider to keep both feet on the ground.
The gasoline tank is mounted on the bottom of the chassis, and its thin shape makes it easy to reach the ground, giving the rider more confidence.
Sharp Ninja Styling
The Ninja Motorbike style is aggressive and resembles the Ninja® ZX-10R, which has won numerous Super Bike World Championships. A broad upper cowl enhances a muscular appearance with a noticeable slant.
For a sleek appearance, the windscreen is flush-fitted with a cowl, and its straight angle helps to bend the wind for a more enjoyable ride. The offensive aspect is enhanced by the twin LED headlights, each with low and high beams and position lamps.
TFT Color Instrumentation
Thanks to the all-digital 4.3-inch TFT (thin film transistor) color device, the cockpit has a high-tech, sophisticated appearance. TFT provides excellent visibility. The background color of the screen (black or white) can be changed, and the screen’s brightness is automatically adjusted according to the amount of light available.
Digital speedometer, digital bar-style tachometer, shift lamp, fuel gauge, gear position indicator, odometer, dual trip meter, remaining range, current and average fuel consumption, average speed, total time, coolant temperature, battery voltage, clock, Kawasaki Service Reminder, Oil Change Reminder, and Kawasaki Economical Riding Indicator are some of the functions of the display.
