Ducati enters the cruiser market uniquely, bringing the best of both worlds. World of Ducati: Outstanding Performance, Athletic Power, Advanced Technologies.
The cruiser world also has tremendous torque on low speed, long, short, forward foot pegs, and rigid materials and artistry.
With a genuine cruiser with all the design, technology and performance expected from the best Ducati generation, Ducati enters the cruiser market uniquely. It connects the two worlds under the name “XDiavel,” the world of Cruiser, which features low speed, quiet ride, long distance, and foot forward ergonomics, and the world of Ducati, which features Italian design, sophisticated engineering, and unparalleled performance.
Finally, 40 is the most significant possible lean angle. Due to its Ducati heritage, the XDiavel guarantees dynamic performance and the rush of sports bikes, but only if you want to maximize it. The frame, suspension, brakes, and chassis setup aim to maximize the enjoyment of a sporty ride while maintaining comfortable and easy handling is essential to finding a relaxed highway.
The Ducati XDiavel is the first to use a belt-type final transmission. This technology, developed by Ducati experts for the XDiavel, is necessary in the world of cruisers and ensures reliable, secure information about the power provided by the Ducati Testastretta DVT 1262. The advantages of belt drive are clean, quiet, low maintenance, and provides the required smooth throttle response in the cruiser.

Ducati brand has updated the XDiavel series for 2021 with the addition of XDiavel Dark and XDiavel Black Star.
XDiavel is a technical miracle that offers exceptional performance and, above all, technology thanks to Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Riding Modes, Bosch Cornering ABS, Cruise Control, and Ducati Power Launch (DPL).
XDiavel is the product of a combination of two seemingly unrelated and distant universes in a cycle. A recipe where the two come together perfectly, without exception. In the XDiavel, the X completely captures this crossover, contrasting the Ducati’s high-speed ride rush and adrenaline with the comfortable speed at the low rates of the cruiser world.
Ergonomics
With its slight seat and modern footpaths, the new 2021 Ducati XDiavel S Sports Motorcycle offers a comfortable riding position. Riders of different age groups and experience levels can adjust the bike according to their riding style and body type, thanks to which there is a wide range of riding parts and accessories available.
Enjoy the fun ride
For beginners, you can tell that this is a Ducati because of its tilt, its technical features, its state-of-the-art electronic package, and its superior performance, which ensures an unforgettable riding experience. On the other hand, the new 2021 Ducati XDiavel S Sports Motorcycle’s wide handlebar and advanced footpaths provide riding ergonomics that enable you to ride comfortably and comfortably at any speed.
Engine
The Ducati Testastretta DVT 1262 twin-cylinder engine conforms to Euro 5 for the full lineup of XDiavel 2021 in any of the nations that accept this specification. An improved silencer arrangement has been used, with a new design that further enhances the aesthetics of the bike and the new engine calibration, in line with current European emissions standards. As a result, the XDiavel produces 160 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 7.23 lb-ft at 5,000 rpm, an increase of 8 horsepower and 1.44 lb-ft compared to the Euro 4 version.
5,000 rpm
At 2,100 rpm, the XDiavel delivers almost 80% of its maximum torque instantly. You can increase your speed by slightly expanding the throttle without changing gears, as you would expect from a cruiser. Instead, at 5,000 rpm, a slow enough momentum for a Ducati twin-cylinder engine, it reaches a torque peak of 7.23 lb-ft. The XDiavel can produce 160 horsepower at 9,500 revolutions per minute (rpm) if you wish.
Power launch by Ducati (DPL)
The Ducati Power Launch allows XDiavel’s “Dragster” spirit to manifest itself (DPL) fully. Thanks to Bosch IMU, which controls gas and intervenes in DTC based on selected settings, this system can ensure a quick and safe start.
Ride by wire
The Ride by Wire (RbW) system, an electrical interface between the engine and the fuel grip on the devil, enables the ideal power level setting according to the selected riding mode.
Transmission belt
The Belt Final is the first Ducati XDiavel to use the drive.
Advance foot
XDiavel’s designers and engineers began their work with a simple idea: a comfortable riding position, similar to a cruiser, with a lower seat and front footprints.
Flexible suspension
The XDiavel’s 50 mm diameter front fork has black anodized sheets, and the compression and extension of the hydraulic brakes, as well as the spring pre-load, can all be fully customized (the S version also has a trunk with DLC coating).
Brake system by Bosch and Brembo
The Bosch 9.1ME Brembo braking system with ABS cornering is standard on the XDiavel. The Bosch IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) platform increases front and rear wheel braking performance through ABS turning, both in emergencies and during cornering. When used in riding mode, the system can adapt to all riding conditions and styles.
Wheels and tires
XDiavel’s 14-spoke codes measure 3.5 “x 17” front and 8 “x 17” rear. The front tire features a 120/70 ZR17 with a revised trade pattern to improve smooth performance. Instead, the rear tire is 240/45 ZR17. New Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires are being used.
Road mode
XDiavel includes the latest technological advances in Ducati, such as riding modes.
Traction control for Ducati (DTC)
Using a “filter” between the rider’s right hand and the rear wheel, DTC is a very clever technique.
