2020 WR250F Yamaha Off-Road Bike – Features and Price
Popular Features
The new WR250F is built on Yamaha’s excellent cross-country motorcycle racing platform, YZ250F. With additional features and unique settings, the 2020 WR250F Yamaha Off-Road Bike is designed to optimize WR for endurance racing. The high compression cylinder head, forged pistons, aggressive cam profile, cylinder geometry, and more other features work together to make the WR250F coaster widely available thrust and excellent high-speed power. All functions can be realized by the convenient pressing of the button to start; the controller has a compact starter motor system battery.
Yamaha’s double-sided beam aluminum frame is derived directly from the YZ250F to concentrate quality and provide an ideal balance between turning feel and straight-line confidence. Yamaha uses KYB spring forks on the WR250F, which has industry-leading functions and is easy to debug and suitable for various conditions. Thanks to the well-balanced ECU adjustment and forestry complaint spark suppressor muffler, WR250F can get where you want anytime, anywhere.
Engine
WR250F has a unique backward tilt cylinder design and is equipped with rear exhaust and front intake system. The cylinder head and the frame geometry are used in conjunction to optimize weight distribution. In terms of interior, the engine has all the updates of the YZ250F centered on racing: straight air intake, strong cam profile, high compression “box bridge” piston design with DLC-coated piston pins, etc. WR250F’s specific ignition and fuel injection diagrams are optimized for endurance racing and racing to provide exceptionally smooth and controllable mid-range power.
WR250F has a two-piece air filter, which can be used in conjunction with the adjustable length of the air intake. It is equipped with a WR dedicated silencer to enhance traction and driving. The WR250F silencer is not only fully mechanized (eliminating the need for repackaging). But it also integrates a spark arrester that complies with US Forest Service Standards. WR250F uses a large radiator, shares excellent cooling capacity with YZ250F off-road motorcycles, and is equipped with a cooling fan to maintain stable performance in the most challenging endurance races.
WR250F has a compact electric starter system, powered by an ultra-small lithium battery, which simplifies the restart process of off-road races and adds convenience in other places. The engine breathes through the new 44mm Mikuni throttle body supplied by a high-pressure electric pump to ensure the best fuel atomization and power under various driving altitudes and conditions. YZ250FX shares the wide-speed 6-speed gearbox with WR250F, providing optimized equipment for narrow technical terrain and wide fire roads. The clutch system has a specific combination of friction plates to achieve heat dissipation and easy operation of the clutch lever.
Chassis / Suspension
Yamaha’s refined aluminum frame shows excellent performance in harsh terrain conditions and provides comfort for long days on the saddle. Together with the YZ250FX off-road racing car, the frame wing spar and engine bracket have been developed. It concentrates the mass, maximizes the balance of collision absorption, stiffness, and rider’s feeling. The WR250F has an 18-inch rear wheel that helps prevent flattening and provides extra comfort on rough, uneven terrain.
The WR250F has a stylish body from start to finish, including a large 2.15-gallon centralized fuel tank. The body design of the 2020 WR250F Yamaha Off-Road Bike is narrower, allowing you to hold your knees more comfortably and control your hand, while the seat provides additional space for the rider to move the machine. Even the design of the rear fender increases rigidity, making the movement of the device easier.
WR250F’s industry-leading, fully adjustable KYB® coil spring front fork has speed-sensitive damping, which provides an excellent balance between handling and shock absorption. The mid-speed valve has been adjusted to allow it to operate at lower fork speeds. Improve the feel. The new large 270mm front disc brake, coupled with aggressive lining materials, has excellent braking performance and machine control capabilities and superior braking force and controllability.
Additional Features
Compared with the YZ250F off-road motorcycle, the 2020 WR250F Yamaha Off-Road Bike has undergone a series of Enduro-specific upgrades. It includes a complete full-coverage composite engine guard, 18-inch rear wheels, a sizeable 2.15-gallon fuel tank, a radiator fan, and a sealed O-ring chain. The bike also features fuel level and engine warning lights, steel rear sprocket, and overhead folding aluminum alloy tripod.
The standard model of the display has an odometer, two schedules, and clock functions, while the race mode has average speed, timer, and travel functions. WR250F’s updated headlight fairing and compact taillight unit concentrate weight and improve the lively and agile style of the machine. Yamaha’s unique entrenched graphics are built into the car body to extend durability and resist peeling and damage.
