2020 Kawasaki KX450 Dirt Motorcycle – Features and Price

2020 Kawasaki KX450 Dirt Motorcycle

The podium’s top stage is within reach with the 2020 Kawasaki KXTM450 motorbikes. The KX450 motorbikes use state-of-the-art technologies developed by Kawasaki factory racing teams. As you dominate the competition, notice the difference between a solid 449cc engine and a slim chassis. The KX450 is designed to win from start to finish line.

Unique Key Features

  • 449cc 4-Stroke Engine 49mm Show Coil Spring Front Fork with A-KIT Technology
  • Rear suspension with Uni-Trak®
  • Power starts with a hydraulic clutch
  • Technology ERGO-FIT®
  • Both the swingarm and the frame are lightweight.
  • Start control mode.

Powerful Engine

The engine of the KXTM450 motorcycle includes a finger-follower valve train that provides robust and instantaneous power. Thanks to the same design used by Kawasaki factory race teams, the 449cc engine produces broad torque and substantial control over the entire rpm range.

Four-stroke, single-cylinder, water-cooled, DOHC, 449cc lightweight engine package incorporates feedback directly from the factory race team, resulting in peak power and a torque crew that lets you jump on the pedals quickly. Allows installation. The powerful KX450 engine has an electronic start system that is powered by a button and is powered by a small Li-ion battery.

Kawasaki used the concepts of Kawasaki World Superbike experts to bring top-level road racing technology to the KX450 valve train. Finger follower valve activation allows larger valve diameters and more aggressive cam profiles. The intake and exhaust valves are lightweight titanium, and the Bridged Box Piston Monster Energy is based on the Kawasaki Race Team’s factory motorcycles.

Chassis

The industry-leading compact aluminum perimeter frame provides good cornering and maximum agility when riding at high speeds thanks to the exceptional front-end sensation. The lightweight frame is made up of forged, extruded, and cast sections, and the engine acts as a pressure member that contributes to the rigidity of the frame. A lightweight alloy swing arm defines the structure with twin tapered hydroformed spars in the cast front section and raw aluminum finish. The dimensions of the swingarm pivot, the output sprocket, and the rear axle positions were carefully selected by the engineers to focus on the center of gravity and balanced handling.

Suspension

In front of high performance, Showa with A-KIT technology is 49mm coil spring front forks, with large diameter inner tubes used like Kawasaki’s factory racing squad. Large damping pistons can be used in forks for smooth movement and firm damping.

The Kawasaki Uni-Trak® linkage system is intended to work with shovel shock, aluminum frame, and rear swingarm. The bottom swing arm linkage enables a longer rear suspension stroke and more accurate rear suspension adjustment. The backbone of the Showa compact design is A-KIT technology and large-diameter compression adjustment, which improves the high-frequency movements of today’s motocross circuits.

Shaw’s 49mm coil spring front fork and A-KIT technology provide excellent suspension and handling. Larger inner tubes allow larger damping pistons for race-winning performance, while a more oversized diameter front axle increases the grip of the front wheel. The Uni-Trak® rear suspension provides maximum rear-wheel traction.

Adjustability

With its adjustable handlebar mounting system and footpegs to adjust the ride and ride style, Kawasaki continues its unparalleled commitment to offering classy ERGO-FITTM riders with ease. The handlebar can be adjusted in four ways. The multi-position handlebars have two mounting holes with a 35-mm adjustment range, and the 180-degree offset clamps have four separate settings to accommodate riders of different sizes. Foot pieces include dual-position mounting points, one of which is shorter and reduces the standard setting by 5 mm. When standing, the lower posture effectively lowers the center of gravity, and when sitting, it reduces the knee angle for long riders.

Bodywork & Seat

In addition to the championship-proven technology, the 2020 KX450 has an aggressive design and unmolded graphics on the radiator shrouds, requiring a very smooth surface and racial finish at the top of the class. The slim bodywork complemented the V-mounted radiators and small chassis design. With long and smooth surfaces that make it easy to move back and forth, every bodywork element aims to help riders move.

Brakes

The most sophisticated 2020 Kawasaki KX450 Dirt Motorcycle has the braking power to match its fantastic speed. A 270mm braking ® petal disc with a dual-piston caliper provides quick response and a robust and consistent feel. For race-ready performance, a large diameter 250mm braking petal disc meets the front.

Ergo-Fit & Ergonomics

The Kawasaki ERGO-FIT® benefit can help you achieve your best performance. You can adjust the KXTM450 bike’s handlebars and footpeg positions according to your body size, riding style and preferences. For maximum comfort and control, wide footpegs provide exceptional grip.

Design

The KXTM450 motorbike, completely redesigned from the bottom up last year, returns to the Kawasaki KXTM range in 2020 as the flagship model. The 449cc Liquid Cold Four Stroke Engine, Slack Aluminum Perimeter Frame, Shaw A-Cat Technology Suspension, Hydraulic Clutch, and Electronic Start are the ultimate combination of Championship winning packages, perfect for experienced race riders.

To enable Kawasaki riders to reach the top of the podium, the KX450 is equipped with race-winning components. The performance of Kawasaki’s KXTM line of motorbikes is a testament to its engineering prowess from showroom to race track. It is the bike that makes champions.
