2020 Dragster 800 RR SCS MV Agusta Naked Bike – Features and Specs

Dragster at heart

This Dragster oozes enthusiasm and individuality with its bobbed tail, spoke wheels, and enticing curves of the fuel tank and headlamp that frame the in-line three-cylinder engine. I was born for this, and I’m eager to set the world on fire.

Less is more

Indulgent riding on an over-the-top bike. There’s no need to worry about the clutch while stopping and going, thanks to the innovative Smart Clutch System and aided rapid two-way shift.

Hold tight

With its rocket-like acceleration and Smart Clutch System, the Dragster 800 RR SCS delivers on this point in performance much above that of traditional-clutch motorcycles; it is intended to be surprising.

An experience that is both smoother and more intuitive

The SCS 2.0 system doesn’t fundamentally alter how the rider interacts with the bike: gears, shift and clutch levers are still there, but one may simply choose not to use the clutch. Functionality without sacrificing enjoyment is the goal here.

Engine – Unrivalled

Due to the MVICS system’s superior electronic control, the Dragster 800 RR SCS’s 140 horsepower and 87 Nm three-cylinder engine is very responsive. Smart Clutch System, the most advanced in the industry, allows for clutch-free stopping and restarting at full power with this system in place.

Electronics – Ultimate efficiency

Using the SCS 2.0 technology, the clutch action and engine delivery curve are perfectly matched. SCS 2.0 equipped motorcycles routinely outperform traditional-clutch versions in acceleration tests because of the electrical aid.

Safety – Power and control

Two 320 mm-diameter floating discs and four-piston radial four-piston calipers, supported by the latest-generation ABS, make up the Dragster’s braking system.

Smart Clutch System

Take advantage of the newest iteration of a must-have. For the first time, MV Agusta has developed a Smart Clutch System that revolutionizes the whole concept of motorcycle change.

With the SCS system, all gears, lever gears, and the same clutch lever remain in place, enabling the driver to interact with the bike. The quick two-way shift EAS 2.1 assists with the pedal control throughout the changes and climbs, which are still “traditional.” SCS 2.0 (Smart Clutch System) designed by MV Agusta and Rekluse automatically disengages when the bike is stopped. The Clutch Smart System Meanwhile, the clutch lever may be used to control all traffic, even low-speed inversions. All of this greatly enhances and simplifies driving.

The MV Agusta’s clutch attachment ramp and dispensing qualities aided the system’s development. The “ideal” attack for departures that are impossible to duplicate with a manual clutch or other aided transmission systems has been discovered by technicians. Other advantages of the SCS 2.0 system include its modest weight (just 36 grams heavier than a regular clutch), which is in keeping with MV Agusta’s vision of optimum lightness and effectiveness.

Standard equipment is used by both the Brutale 800 RR SCS and the Dragster 800 RR SCS. Maximum power and torque are 140 hp and 8.87 km, respectively, from the 798 cc three-cylinder engine with a counter-rotating crankshaft. With the MVICS 2.0 and Eldor engine control unit, the electronic administration of the engine is exact and practical. Four different torque control maps are available, three predetermined and one custom.

Frame

To finish the trellis frame of ALS steel tubing and aluminum-alloy swingarm plates, the scenographic mono-arm holds the Dragster’s 200/50 tire placed on the spoke rim with channel 6 “(the Brutale’s 180/55 tire has a circle of breeds of 5.50 “). Smart Clutch System 2.0, with Radius CX automated drive and hydraulic control, multi-disc in oil bath, is a unique feature of the SCS 2.0.
