Braking System

The 2018 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R is available with a similar braking system used in Kawasaki Ninja H2. The bike features the radially attached four-piston front brakes calipers. In contrast, the front brakes come with Brembo M50 cast monoblock calipers including four opposed 30mm pistons that clamp the 310mm Brembo disc to ensure excellent braking. The outer edges of the discs come with grooves down to the center of the outer edges that helps in heat dissipation. An all-new Brembo radial-pump master cylinder and reservoir are calibrated for the crankshaft to ensure little lever movement to achieve a more potent front braking force.

The rear braking system features the 32mm pistons that clamp a disc of 250mm. An all-new stainless steel braided brake lines contribute to the direct feel. The smoke-colored brake and clutch master cylinder reservoirs, black anodized reservoirs brackets and some other added accents enhance cockpit appearance.

Engine

The new throttle bodies assembly with remote idle speed control (ISC) valve eliminating the need to adjust idle and lower emission during deceleration, allowing smaller catalyzers to be used in the exhaust that helps in better performance. An all-new 44 mm Mikuni throttle bodies are attached with Dual Throttle Valves (KP), which are controlled by the ECU to offer precise response plus it makes DFI performance smoother. The new fuel injector nozzles disperse the finely-atomized fuel over the broader area that helps in boosting power. An all-new 32-bit electronic control unit works with a dual throttle valve system that further enhances throttle response and control.

An all-new exhaust system contains large-diameter tapered header pipes with large muffler volume. The internal construction of the muffler is designed for better exhaust flow. The gearbox consists of 6-speed transmission with heat and surface treatment on all gears for better durability and wears resistance. Chassis
