Engine Features

The all-new 2017 Suzuki GSX-R600 heavy bike comes with the compact 599 cc of 4-cylinder engine with the race-proven over-square bore and stroke ratios. This engine produces a healthy RPM power delivery. It contains a forged pistons, chrome-nitride-coated upper compression and oil control rings, shot-peened connecting rods and new pentagonal ventilation holes to reduce the frictional and mechanical losses. The new camshaft with aggressive valve-lift profiles was developed using the proven MotoGP racing engine technology; this method is first time applied to the Suzuki Bikes. The new lightweight titanium-allow valves are controlled by the single coil valve springs to reduce the valve train mass, resulting in the reduction of mechanical losses at high RPM. These lightweight and durable forged pistons were designed by using the same Finite Element Method (FEM) and fatigue analysis technology. The new Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel injection uses eight, fine spray 8-hole injectors for best fuel atomization, which helps in complete combustion. An Engine Control Module (ECM) offers state-of-the-art engine management, and it has enhanced settings to suit the intake and exhaust systems. This control guarantees better fuel economy and linear throttle response. The new advanced MotoGP-developed transistorised ignition control programming helps to maintain accurate spark timing across the range of engine speed and temperature range. The new Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) provides the push-button selection of two racing-developed engine control maps, which gives the best performance in road and track condition. The all-new 4-into-1 stainless-steel exhaust system with the titanium muffler is fitted with the Suzuki Exhaust Tuning (SET) valve to have a maximum torque and better throttle response. The braking system features the front brakes with the fully floating 310 mm of the disc, which is grasped by Radial-mount, four-piston BREMBO Monobloc callipers. The new three-spoke cast aluminum-alloy wheels are shod with the lightweight, high-grip rear and front tires for sharp handling. The new and three-way adjustable footpegs, with the adjustable shift lever and small fuel tank, helps to compose a comfortable riding position. The new and lightweight cluster of the instrument with the built-in lap timer or stopwatch and programmable new engine RPM indicators to alert the rider of the bike to certain shift points. The lightweight and straightforward bodywork creates an impressive aerodynamic design. The chassis features a Distinctive multi-reflector headlight with the vertically stacked high and low-beam halogen bulbs, which are centred between the position lights on each side. They have bright, durable LED taillight with the clear lens. The front turn signal of this bike is integrated into the rear-view mirrors while the rear tail section contains the rear signals.
