2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000R – Features
Engine Features
Both of the bikes, 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000R has the Four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOCH engine of 999.8 ccs. This engine features inline-four cylinders, which are designed with the high level of top end performance plus they offer strong low to mid-range power. The crankshaft of these bike delivers better engine speed, it runs smoother and reliably while emitting the screamer exhaust note. This engine has the bore of 76 mm and stroke of 55.1 ccs. The fresh design of the engine has been rotated back and has positioned in the frame to create the optimal chassis dimensions for proper handling and to balance the weight of the bike. The all-new Suzuki Racing Variable Valve Timing System (SR-VVT) uses the centrifugally actuated mechanism on its intake camshaft sprocket to improve the high engine RPM power without losing the low-to-mid range power. The new Suzuki Racing Finger Follower valve train is small in weight and is very helpful in reducing the friction. These bikes have titanium valves, two 32.5 mm intake valves and two exhaust valves of 24 mm for each cylinder. The new engine features aluminium pistons of 76 mm in diameter, and they are engineered with the use of FEM analysis for optimal rigidity and weight. The new SCEM coated cylinders are very efficient in reducing friction and to improve heat transfer and durability. These bikes have the compression ratio of 13.2:1, it is very helpful in producing the high horsepower. The new automatic Idle Speed Control (ISC) improves the cold starting, and it stabilises the engine temperature. The engine has four primary fuel injectors in the throttle bodies are four Suzuki Top Feed Injectors (S-TFI), which spray fuel from the top of the air box directly into the intake funnels resulting efficient fuel combustion. These bikes have new air box equipped with the Staked Air Intake Funnel to increase the top end power without losing the lower RPM performance. The new 4-2-1 exhaust system with the titanium muffler is specially designed to help the engine to deliver the broad range of return. The titanium muffler has a charming look while creating a distinctive sound. The new cooling system is designed using the advanced analysis design so that the coolant flows through the engine and radiator more efficiently. These new 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000R bikes come with the six-speed close-ratio transmissions.

Chassis Features
These newly launched 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000R bikes come with the best and compact chassis. The frame design is also modified, the engine angle of these bikes is rotated backwards by six degrees. It decreases the distance between fork to the centre of chassis about 20 mm and increases the swingarm length about 40 mm. This improvement gives better stability and best aerodynamics. The frame is 10 % lighter than the prior generations of GSX-R1000. The all-new Aluminum Superbike-braced swingarm offers best handling experience. The all-new SHOWA Balance Free Rear Cushion lite (BFRC-lite) shock are used. This innovative design controls the damping force outside of the shock body. These bikes have lightweight, race-ready upper triple clamp in conjunction with the BFF fork. The BREMBO Radio Mount Brake Calipers offer strong braking performance. Theses bikes have floating disc brakes of 320 mm while the rear 240 mm disc brake is complemented with the NISSIN single-piston calliper for best performance. These bikes have got the best ABS of all-time. They have all-new lightweight six-spoke wheels that reduce the unsprung mass and have the best design to handle the braking and drive force. They have all-new Bridgestone RS10 small weight tires. They offer better grip and handling experience. The bike has new and compact LED headlight. The seat and footrest are positioned carefully. The fuel tank is lowered 21 mm for best handling. The seat height in 825 mm. The passenger seat of both motorcycles can be removed. The bikes have got unique colour combinations.

Advanced Electronics Features
The all-new 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000R are one of the best bikes of Suzuki Brand. These bikes have 32-bit dual processor Engine Control Module (ECM). The rider of 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000R will achieve the best performance. The new and advanced Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) is used on these bikes; it offers six directions, three-axis motion and the position information to the ECM so instantaneous adjustments can be made electronically to the engine and some chassis components that influences the performance. This bike features new ride by wire electronic throttle bodies; these are accurately opened by the ECM to match the grip of throttle rotation of the hand of rider and refinement from the new IMU-influenced electronics. It will result in the high, seamless engine power delivery. The new and exclusive ten mode, Motion Track Traction Control System (MT-TCS) with the IMU influence increases the rider confidence. The new Motion Track Anti-Lock Brake System has an additional control to the anti-lock braking (ABS). Just like the conventional ABS used in 2016 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and 2016 Suzuki GSX-R1000R, the Motion Track Brake System offers an appropriate amount of braking force for available traction. Whenever the new IMU detects the rear wheel is lifting up from the extreme braking force, this ABS control module will adjust the front brake pressure to reduce the back wheel lift. If the IMU senses the bike is leant over when the brakes are applied, the ABS unit will adjust the pressure of pressure to an optimal amount to help maintain good braking force and tire grip. The new version of three modes of Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) system lets the rider to select the power output levels of the engine. The new Suzuki Easy Start System simplifies start-up for the GSX-R1000R riders as the ECM automatically cranks the engine for about 1.5 seconds. There is no need of pulling the clutch lever if the transmission is in neutral. Once the bike is started, the ECM will control the electronic throttle bodies to maintain the consistent engine idle speed, whether this new engine is warm or cold. The innovative Suzuki Low RPM Assist System smooths the take-offs, and it reduces the chance of the rider stalling the bike. The ECM raises the engine RPM slightly for the smoother start when this clutch is released, so it’s easier to ride away from the stop or navigate at a very low speed in the traffic. The new Suzuki Launch Control System offers the competitive advantage when travelling is starting the race. This new system will control power so that rider can concentrate on clutch operation. The all-new Suzuki Bi-directional Quick-shift system offers the rider or racer to shift faster than ever before. By manipulation on the upshift and by manipulation electronic throttle body on downshift, the clutch-less shifting helps in faster delivery and more consistent lap time.
Electrical Features
These newly launched 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000R sports bikes have new LCD multi-functional Instrument Panel. The rider can quickly and easily acquire the tachometer bar, speedometer digits and some other information as well. This panel has a unique black face and provides plenty of information. The new LED headlight is light in weight and has a distinctive look. The tail and brake lights use little power. Their rear lights illuminate the license plates of these new bikes. The turn signals features lightweight wit incandescent bulb with amber lenses. These bikes feature new poly-function start and stop switch for starting and stopping of the engine. Both of these bikes features lightweight battery.
Additional Features.
There are a variety of Genuine Suzuki Accessories are also available with the GSX-R logo apparel. These bikes come with the warranty of 12 months only.
